Broccoli
An oil-free fryer can dry out food. Broccoli has no oil so
it can burn completely in an oil-free fryer. If you want you to cook in an
oil-free fryer, apply the seasoning powder over the broccoli to avoid burning.
Then, add a teaspoon of water to the bottom of the oil-free fryer so the
broccoli will soften and won't burn.
Whole chicken
If you put the whole chicken in the fryer slowly, the
chicken closest to the heat source will dry out or burn. The hot air needs
circulating for the oil-free fryer to work. To properly cook chicken in an
oil-free fryer, you will have to cook a few pieces of chicken at a time instead
of adding the whole chicken.
Cheese
Melting the cheese in an oil-free fryer isn't good at all.
The melted cheese will form a large mixture.
Cereals
Grains like rice and pasta can be deliciously crunchy in an
oil-free fryer, but they must be cooked on the stove first. Oil-free fryers are
designed to dry cooked foods, so trying to cook something that needs to be
soaked in water won't work.
Vegetables
Oil-free fryers do not have the ability to crispy raw
dishes. The dish may be soggy and not delicious. Putting frozen vegetables in
an oil-free fryer is better.
Olive oil
Olive oil is not recommended in an oil-free fryer as it is
less smoky than other oils. Also, foods with olive oil may taste strange after
it has been cooked in an oil-free fryer. Therefore, you should use vegetable
oil, canola oil and peanut oil as they are all highly fuming oils.
